This policy distinguishes the native Time Till iPhone app from the Time Till browser website at time-till.app. They use different alarm systems and handle information differently.

Native iPhone app: local information and alarms

  • Deadlines, saved shortcut names and times, and display preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • The app remembers the scheduled alarm's deadline and title locally. iOS manages the alarms through Apple's AlarmKit.
  • Normal timer use does not send your deadlines or shortcut names to Gwen Brewer.
  • The current native app has no user accounts, advertising, third-party analytics or cloud synchronisation.
  • The app requests permission to schedule alarms. You can manage that permission in iPhone Settings.
  • Deleting a shortcut removes that shortcut. Stop and Reset cancel the active alarm. Reset keeps saved shortcuts and display preferences.
  • Uninstalling the app removes local app data, subject to Apple's backup and restore behaviour.

If you use the beta through Apple TestFlight, Apple may share beta usage information, crash reports and feedback with the developer. This is separate from the app's normal local timer use.

Browser website: local storage

The website stores saved shortcut names and times, and your seconds-display preference, in your browser's local storage on this device. The storage entries are named endtime.presets and endtime.secMode; these historical names preserve existing saved settings. The active countdown and entered time are held in page memory rather than saved as an active alarm in local storage.

The website also uses session storage to restore your position when navigating between pages. No user accounts or cloud shortcut synchronisation are implemented on the website.

Deleting a shortcut removes it from local storage. Reset clears the current countdown but keeps shortcuts and the seconds preference. Clearing this site's browser data removes saved browser information; another device or browser has its own separate storage.

Browser website: analytics, cookies and external services

The website is hosted through Lovable and uses existing visitor analytics. The published website loads an analytics script that measures visits and page performance, including loading and responsiveness metrics. The script includes an event-transmission path to Tinybird. The full information sent, delivery paths and recipient arrangements have not yet been verified.

Lovable also supplies an events script with error-reporting capabilities. Website code can report caught errors through available Lovable reporting hooks. The complete report contents, destination and production reporting behaviour have not yet been verified. Do not include sensitive information in shortcut names.

Published website responses are served through Cloudflare and have been observed setting a security cookie named __cf_bm. Although the timer code does not itself set cookies, hosting services can set cookies and process connection information, such as IP addresses and browser request details, to deliver and protect the site.

The website loads Nunito Sans and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts. Your browser makes requests to Google to fetch these fonts, which exposes connection information such as your IP address and request details to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

No advertising scripts, embedded frames or contact forms were identified in the reviewed website code. This does not mean the website collects no data: the existing analytics, error-reporting and hosting services described above are separate from local timer storage.

Website details still under review

Exact analytics and error-reporting fields, any additional cookies or identifiers, service-provider arrangements, hosting and telemetry retention periods, and where information is processed remain unconfirmed. The lawful basis for website analytics and any consent requirements also need confirmation. No specific international-transfer safeguards or hosting retention periods are claimed here.

You can contact Gwen Brewer at the email above for current information about these points. This website-specific section will be updated once they are confirmed.

Support and privacy correspondence

Emails to timetill.support@gmail.com are received through Gmail. Gwen Brewer uses your email address, message contents and any attachments you choose to send to answer enquiries and resolve issues. The legal basis is legitimate interests in supporting the app and responding to requests.

Messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support and applicable legal obligations. Google's handling of Gmail information is described in Google's privacy policy.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive portable information where that right applies. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it.

To request access, correction or deletion, or exercise another applicable right, email timetill.support@gmail.com. Gwen may need enough information to verify your request. Device-local app and shortcut information that Gwen does not receive must be managed on your device.
