Start a countdown

Enter the time you want to finish or leave, then select Start countdown. On the website, you can enter a time such as 3:30, 6:15PM, 130 or 1700. If you omit AM or PM, the website chooses the closest matching time in the future. Check the selected time and change AM or PM if needed.

Saved shortcuts let you start a countdown to a recurring time with one tap.

Change a deadline in the iPhone app

After editing the deadline in the native iPhone app, select Update countdown to apply the change to your countdown and scheduled alarm.

Stop and reset

On the browser website, Stop countdown pauses the timer. Start countdown resumes it from where it stopped. Reset clears the current countdown, while keeping your saved shortcuts and seconds preference.

In the native iPhone app, Stop and Reset cancel the active alarm. Reset keeps saved shortcuts and display preferences.

iPhone app alarm permission

The native iPhone app needs permission to schedule alarms through Apple's AlarmKit. Allow alarm access when prompted. You can review or change this permission in iPhone Settings for Time Till.

Browser alarms on phones

Keep this page open and your screen unlocked near the end. Turn off silent mode and check your volume to hear the alarm.

Browser alarms cannot be relied on while the phone is locked, on silent, or the page is in the background. These website limitations are separate from the native iPhone app's scheduled alarms.

Report a problem

Please include your device model, iOS version (for the iPhone app) or browser name and version (for the website), and a description of what happened. Mention whether you used the iPhone app or the browser website. Screenshots are optional; avoid including private information you don't want to share.
